The road will eventually connect the larger highway network that links Mongolia with China and Russia. Upon completion, the network will facilitate the flow of goods and passengers between the countries. SMEC’s services included: a review of existing road designs, civil works estimates, preparation of maintenance plans, financial analyses, evaluations of trade initiatives and an Environmental Impact Assessment.
