Woodgrove Walk is a 239 lot residential estate located off High Street in West Melton, Victoria. Construction on the estate commenced in 2003 with the final stages completed in June 2008. In response to the design brief which called for a bold entry, walls of Tynong stone were designed to frame Fairhaven Boulevard. Landscaping consisted of alternating bands of coloured stone mulches and contrasting succulent species. Streetscapes consisted of a mixture of deciduous and exotic species selected for drought tolerance. The eastern boundary of the estate is marked by Arnolds Creek, along which indigenous species were planted and a shared path was constructed. SMEC Urban (a subsidiary of SMEC) provided extensive planning and landscape architecture services.
