The SMEC Foundation donates $50,000 in funding to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander charities.
Three charities have been selected, each incorporating our SMEC Foundation values and strategic intent, whilst also supporting our Reconciliation Action Plan.
The SMEC Foundation is a core part of SMEC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, and operates with the philosophy that a small amount of money spent wisely can produce far-reaching social and economic benefits.

At the end of last year, the ANZ Divisional CSR Committee reached out to our employees to ask for nominations to allocate the funding for 2017, and they have selected three charities that incorporate the values and strategic intent of the SMEC Foundation, whilst also supporting our Reconciliation Action Plan.
