The SMEC Foundation has partnered with So They Can (STC) to fund the construction of a family home in Miti Mingi Village (MMV), Kenya, giving eight children a place to call home.
So They Can (STC) is a not-for-profit organisation working with communities in Kenya and Tanzania to help break the poverty cycle through education and empowerment.
The relationship between the SMEC Foundation, SMEC Kenya and STC has been maturing over several years. A number of STC projects have received funding from the SMEC Foundation, with employees from SMEC Kenya augmenting the funding by generously giving their technical expertise to these projects.
