SMEC has won a contract with the Kaduna State Water Board to carry out an African Development Bank-funded Solid Waste Management Study in Zaria, Nigeria.
SMEC’s scope of work includes: analysis of existing waste management services in the region; strategic framework design; capacity building services; and community and stakeholder engagement.
The objective of the Pilot Scheme is to ensure 100% success rate of Solid Waste Management processes prior to an expanded program rollout across Zaria.
