In the Water Resources sector, SMEC remains at the forefront of advancements as knowledge within this field continues to expand. SMEC’s environmental water quality experts have broad experience in various studies and projects involving the design, development and monitoring of total water quality plans in Australia and internationally. These skills and experience in water quality studies are a natural extension of SMEC’s traditional expertise and accomplishment in ‘water quantity’ studies.
SMEC has been involved in projects including integrated water resources management, groundwater management, catchment management, environmental flow studies, water resources modelling, wetland management and climate change adaptation.
