The Porgera Gold Mine is located in the Enga province, Papua New Guinea.
The scope of this project involved a review of the stability and sediment run out from the Anjolek Creek waste dump.
The Anjolek Creek dump is a managed erodible dump, where soft waste rock from the mine is dumped. High rainfall washes the sediment into the creek from which it is transported into the Porgera River system.
