Dr Nakedi Mathews Phosa was recently recognised at the African Achievement Awards, held in Abuja, Nigeria.
SMEC’s South Africa Board member, Dr Nakedi Mathews Phosa, was recently recognised at the African Achievement Awards, held in Abuja, Nigeria.
Dr Phosa was the only recipient to receive two awards: the Leadership Excellence Award and the Lifetime Achiever Award.
Dr Phosa dedicated his Leadership Excellence Award to good governance and democracy. He then dedicated his Lifetime Achiever Award to South Africa’s former President, Cde Nelson Mandela.
Dr Phosa, an attorney by profession, is a leading figure in South Africa’s business and political world. Dr Tom Marshall (Chief Operating Officer, Africa) attended the ceremony to represent SMEC’s support of Dr Phosa.
