SMEC will help to improve traffic congestion along one of Brisbane's busiest roadways.
SMEC, in partnership with BMD Constructions, has been awarded a design and construction contract by Brisbane City Council (BCC) for the upgrade of the Inner City Bypass (ICB) in Brisbane.
BCC is improving the network capacity by widening the roadway to four lanes in each direction between the eastern portal of the Legacy Way Tunnel and the RNA tunnel.
The upgrade will help to increase capacity and improve safety on the ICB by reducing congestion-related accidents.
