The project offers high capacity transport to help cut congestion and provide a frequent, reliable and comfortable travel option through the city centre.
SMEC has been engaged by Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) as Independent Certifier (IC) on the Newcastle Light Rail project.
SMEC will provide IC services for all works required for the Newcastle Light Rail project, system as part of the Newcastle Urban Transformation and Transport Program, which aims to revitalise the city centre.
