The scope of work included delivery and implementation of: work management; supply processes and data standards; and a sustainable learning training program to ensure the transformation objectives were achieved across the global operations.
Through clean and compliant SAP master data, improved equipment criticality accuracy and SAP process alignment, the client realised:

- A reduction in production costs by ~10%
- An increase of production outputs by ~20%.
SMEC was engaged by a global resource company that was undertaking a transformation initiative to standardise work practices across the organisation’s worldwide operations.
This business change initiative included the global roll-out one integrated optimised solution ‘1 Simplify, Align and Perform’ (1SAP) to enable and support all common business core processes and to provide quality usable data to ensure delivery on strategic requirements underpinned by SAP.
