Corin is an experienced international business leader with over 29 years working across Asia and the Pacific, sub-Saharan Africa, and Europe. He brings deep expertise in strategy, operations, and sector development, with a particular focus on infrastructure, energy, economic growth, and private sector development. In his leadership roles within SMEC’s Infrastructure& Energy Business group, Corin has led strategy, business development, consulting, and project delivery, alongside technical work in fund and program design, governance, and enabling business environments.

Corin’s diverse experience spans working with impact investors, social enterprises, development agencies, corporate investors, and the public sector. He has held senior leadership and Board positions in both small and large businesses, supporting sectors including agribusiness, extractives, financial services, microfinance, and mobile money.

He holds a Master of Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School in South Africa and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Corin has contributed to a range of significant development programs, including the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Incomes through Support for Markets in Agriculture, the Samoa Tautua Human Development Program, and the Samoa Private Sector Development Program. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Trade Mark East Africa.

SMEC’s Management Committee has primary authority for the management and monitoring of SMEC’s operations, and the implementation of the Company Strategy subject to policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors. The Management Committee is comprised of senior individuals with extensive experience in strategic and operational planning.
