SMEC in Brunei
SMEC has operated in Brunei since 2016. SMEC’s first project was carry out the conceptual development and detailed design of the Sg. Kedayan Eco-Corridor Project. The project is part of Brunei’s infrastructure development strategy and is one of several public-private partnership projects that will be implemented by the government to make Bandar Seri Begawan a more lively and vibrant city.
SMEC’s experience in the Transport, Water, Geotechnics and Tunnels, Energy and Education, Governance and Government Advisory sectors ensures that SMEC is well-equipped to replicate in Brunei its solid global track record of delivering high-quality projects, focusing on undertakings that are aligned with the country’s growth objectives, specifically those outlined in the Bandar Seri Begawan Master Plan.
