SMEC is pleased to announce the expansion of our global business into the United Kingdom and Europe with the opening of an office in London.

Headquartered in Sydney Australia, this iconic global engineering business is proud to bring over 70 years’ of technical expertise to the UK. With its origins forged on the Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, SMEC has a global footprint delivering projects throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America and the Pacific.

 

The London team is being led by Sybille Tildsley who previously held the role of International Opportunity General Manager for SMEC International since 2015.

 

“I am incredibly proud to be leading the operations as Director, expanding SMEC’s business into the UK and Europe. The outlook and opportunities within the region make this an exciting time to launch,” commented Sybille Tildsley, Director – United Kingdom.

 

As a member of the Singaporean based Surbana Jurong Group, SMEC is part of a family of specialists. Collaborating closely with Surbana Jurong and sister companies, SMEC has the flexibility to operate in global markets either individually or in partnership to add value for clients.

 

SMEC provides technical expertise and advanced engineering services to resolve complex challenges within roads, highways, rail, metro, airports, ports, urban, water, hydropower and renewable energy markets.
