Ei-Sheng Hong CEng MICE has 14 years of design and management experience primarily in bridge permanent design projects, feasibility studies, bridge inspection and balanced cantilever temporary works design. The bridges he designed include balanced cantilever segmental box girders, curved steel girders, steel truss bridges, composite bridges and prestressed concrete bridges located in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and the US. Having worked in three different countries, he was experienced using various design codes such as Eurocode, British Standards, Australian Standards, AASHTO, ACI, Hong Kong and Indonesian Standards.

 

Some of the notable bridge projects he was involved in include KVMRT, KVMRT2, LRT3, DASH, SUKE, WCE, NPE, Penang Second bridge, Penang Cable car, Gemas-JB Double Track, and Cantara residential bridge in Malaysia, Pacific Highway in Australia, Jurong East Transport Hub in Singapore, Cikampek-Palimanan Toll Road in Indonesia, and Wacker Drive Reconstruction in the United States.
