SMEC has been appointed to deliver project management services for the construction of a new six-story office complex for the Ghana Immigration Service, located in Accra.

The Ghana Immigration Service assesses visa applications, entry and residence permits. This project aims to reduce the housing deficit for civil servants at the Ghana Immigration Service. The team will be providing the following services: 

 

Design Review  

The Design Review will focus on the existing Architectural and Engineering designs. This includes infrastructure, landscaping, and building design to ensure the facility meets the needs of the people who will use the space. 

 

Project Management 

SMEC has been appointed by IPSL Ghana Limited, who are providing Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Finance (EPC+F). IPSL is an established development company in west Africa renowned for work with governments and development agencies to design and deliver programmes that drive both investment and economic development. 

 

SMEC will work closely with our project partners to ensure the project needs to meet all requirements in terms of budget, scope, and quality. SMEC has nominated a highly experienced team who are looking forward to delivering this flagship project for the immigration department in Accra. 

 

This project is expected to be completed in approximately 20 months.
